BUDOUR HASSAN



Budour Hassan je palestinska feministka, pisateljica in raziskovalka Amnesty International za Bližnji vzhod in severno Afriko, ki preiskuje in dokumentira kršitve človekovih pravic v Izraelu/Palestini. Študirala je pravo in filozofijo, preden se je pridružila Amnesty International je delala kot pravna raziskovalka in zagovornica v Jeruzalemskem centru za pravno pomoč in človekove pravice. Budour v svojih delih piše o vsakdanjem življenju pod okupacijo in apartheidom, pravicah invalidov in žensk ter solidarnosti med državami juga in je brezkompromisen glas proti nepravičnosti.

Budour Hassan is a Palestinian feminist, writer, and researcher for Amnesty International in the Middle East and North Africa, investigating and documenting human rights violations in Israel/Palestine. She studied law and philosophy before joining Amnesty International, where she worked as a legal researcher and advocate at the Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center. Budour writes about everyday life under occupation and apartheid, the rights of disabled people and women, and solidarity between countries of the South, and is an uncompromising voice against injustice.
