Emina Bužinkić raziskuje, organizira, moderira in piše na stičišču migracij, izobraževanja, rase, transnacionalne solidarnosti, gradnje miru, feministične prakse in pedagogike upora. Njena dela se pojavljajo v antidisciplinarnih in interdisciplinarnih revijah, ki povezujejo akademsko delo in družbene boje (AGITATE!, American Ethnologist, Critical Sociology, Dversia, Kulturpunkt, Movements). Nedavno je souredila knjigo The Organization of Irresponsibility: Reassessing COVID-19 in Europe. Sodeluje pri gradnji širših transnacionalnih solidarnostnih gibanj in ustvarjanju sveta prek meja, najbolj izrazito prek pobude Free Palestine Initiative, pogovorov Transnational Solidarities, festivalov Grounded in Subversive ter z uredniškim kolektivom AGITATE! – Unsettling Knowledges. Nedavno je zaključila podoktorsko delo na Inštitutu za razvoj in mednarodne odnose v Zagrebu, kjer se je osredotočila na upravljanje po pandemiji, platformni kapitalizem in delo migrantov, potem ko je doktorirala na Univerzi v Minnesoti. Lani je bila za svojo zavezanost pravičnosti in gradnji miru nagrajena z mirovno nagrado Krunoslava Sukića.

Emina Bužinkić researches, organizes, facilitates, and writes at the crossroads of migration, education, race, transnational solidarities, peace building, feminist praxis, and the pedagogies of resistance. Her writings appear in antidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journals that bridge scholarship and struggle (AGITATE!, American Ethnologist, Critical Sociology, Dversia, Kulturpunkt, Movements). She recently co-edited the book The Organization of Irresponsibility: Reassessing COVID-19 in Europe. She co-builds wider transnational solidarity movements and world-making across borders, most vividly through the Free Palestine Initiative, Transnational Solidarities conversations, festivals Grounded and Subversive, and with the editorial collective of AGITATE! – Unsettling Knowledges. She recently concluded her postdoctoral work with the Institute for Development and International Relations with a focus on post-pandemic governance, platform capitalism and migrant work, after receiving her doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota. Last year, she was honored with the Krunoslav Sukić Peace Award for her commitment to justice and peacebuilding.
