Iva Ramuš Cvetkovič je diplomirala in magistrirala na Pravni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, trenutno pa je zaposlena na Inštitutu za kriminologijo, kjer raziskuje tematike na presečišču tehnologije in prava. Proučuje družbeno škodo, ki jo povzročajo vesoljska tehnologija, nova orožja in umetna inteligenca, ter možne pravne in druge odzive nanjo. Zanima jo tudi filozofsko-teoretsko ozadje pojmov zla, nasilja in moči, in njihove manifestacije v družbeni (pretekli in sedanji) resničnosti in v sferi umetnosti in znanosti. Osredotoča se tudi na škodljive družbene spremembe, ki jih prinaša pospešena militarizacija, predvsem na normalizacijo ter nekaznovanost mednarodnih zločinov, vključno z genocidom.

Iva Ramuš Cvetkovič has finished her bachelor and master studies at Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. She is currently working at the Institute of Criminology, where she researches the intersection of law and technology. Her work examines social harm, caused by space technology, new weapons and artificial intelligence, as well as possible responses to it. She is interested in the philosophical and theoretical background of the concepts of violence, evil and power, and their manifestation in social (past and present) reality and in the spheres of art and science. She is also focused on harmful social changes brought forward by increased militarization, especially normalization of and the lack of responses to the international crimes, including the genocide.
